Recently Australian Cricket Board announces their 4 years FTP (Full Tour Program) from 2023 to 2027 including all the Test Matches, T20I matches, ODI Matches, and ICC tournaments. Today we will take a brief look at all the matches, Australia is going to play. All these matches are based on the Home & Away program.
Total Matches For Australia During 2023
Australia will play a total of 33 matches during the single year of 2023. These 2023 matches are on different soils with the Home & Away Matches scheme. Some competitions and tournaments are meant to be hosted by Australia and for some Australia will travel to play.
Home Matches For Australia During 2023
Australia is meant to play 8 Home matches during the whole year of 2023. As a matter of fact, these 8 Home matches do not have a T20I match or ODI Match. Australia will play only Test matches on Australian Soil during the whole year in 2023. Australia will host Windies, South Africa, and Pakistan in 2023 for a different number of test matches.
Away Matches For Australia During 2023
Australia has a lot of Away matches during 2023. As it is defined, Australia will play 25 Away matches during the calendar year 2023. This means they will play Test Matches, T20I Matches, and ODI matches on different soils. Australia will tour a lot of countries such as India and England. During away games Australia will do multiple tours on multiple soils, the most important and biggest tour of Australia is going to be the Ashes Series in England and Series with India. These two series are the biggest blockbuster for the Australian team and fans.
Tournaments For Australia During 2023
Australia will play only one tournament during 2023, the biggest tournament of Cricket World, the ICC Cricket World Cup. And guess what, this World Cup is going to be hosted by India. Australia will visit India for ODI, Test, and T20I matches series before and after World Cup. These series are going to help Australia in preparation for the ICC Cricket World Cup.
